Item Drops

Item drop chart

Chart by Ecksters

The chart below shows the 15 drop tables used in-game, numbered 0-14. The drop chances are shown as colored fractions, and on the righthand side the key is shown, mapping colors to different items dropped.
Below the probabilities, the sources that use each of the tables are shown, including different enemies as well as environmental objects like bushes and trees.

Flex drops

Chart by Ecksters

The main drop chart above shows a purple 1⁄16 drop for some of the drop tables called a "flex drop", which does not use a fixed item. If you happen to get a flex drop, the item is then determined based on various properties of Link's current inventory.

Reference the table below to see the full breakdown of how the specific drop is calculated when you do roll a flex drop.

Useful bomb drops for speedruns

Besides the common locations below, certain enemies (flare dancer, armos, beamos, Water Temple spike enemies) also have 50% bomb drop rates. Farming large patches of grass is also a good source of bombs, commonly in Graveyard, Hyrule Field, Lake Hylia, and Kokiri Forest.
