Bazaar at night

This clip allows access to shop at night when the door is locked. With sword, you can easily climb the box to the left of the door, roll upright to jump off, then jumpslash over the door and into the loading zone.

Swordless

setup by sva
  1. Bonk in the corner between the shop and the box (facing angle roughly 0x38--)
  2. Tap right to turn right and begin holding target (continue holding through remainder of trick) (facing angle roughly 0xf8--)
  3. Hold right to climb onto the box
  4. Sidehop left (up on control stick)
  5. Sideroll (press A while neutral on control stick)
  6. Begin holding up on control stick 1-5 frames after pressing A to jump over the door

Cheat the Treasure Box Shop minigame

The Treasure Box Shop minigame consists of picking between one of two chests that randomly contain either a key or a rupee reward, within a series of 5 rooms. The Lens of Truth allows you to peek into the contents of the chest, eliminating the random factor completely. Of course, you can get lucky by picking every chest correctly, which has a 1/32 chance of happening.

You can cheat the game on the 1.0 version by using the putaway method of Ocarina Items to play Sun's Song inside of the minigame. This will reload the scene without re-locking the doors you've opened or removing keys from your inventory.

Skip waking Talon

As long as you have an explosive, it is possible to skip talking to Malon to get the Weird Egg and waiting a day for it to hatch into a chicken to wake Talon. This makes it possible to learn Zelda's Lullaby much sooner.

Simply stand on the little platform near the water, and do a damage boost with a jumpslash to boost yourself to the ledge. With a Bombchu you can shield drop it in mid-air or wait until it is about to explode before you jump. For a Bomb you must wait for it to explode.

You can also hover up, or Megaflip to the ledge.

Zelda's Lullaby cutscene skip

Using a Bombchu

Setup Discovered by Kazooie
  1. Line up on the right hand side of the pillar as shown, ensuring you are at half a heart, or less, health
  2. Pivot 90 degrees right and target the camera behind you (make sure you don't align with the wall in front of you. If you do, it means you're too close to that wall)
  3. Backflip and shield drop a bombchu. Release Z Target before you land (as with the King Zora Skip) and you will get damage boosted into the cutscene and die.
  4. Either Save and Don't Continue to go back to Link's House, or Save and Do Continue, then talk to Shiek and you'll be teleported to outside Hyrule Market

Troubleshooting: If the bombchu rides the wall when you try to shield drop it, you dropped it too early. You must clear the pillar before dropping it in clear open space.

Using the Guard's Bomb

Setup Discovered by Runnerguy2489
  1. Sidehop into the corner on the left of Zelda and get against the wall. (Make sure your health is at 1/2 a heart or less.)
  2. Backflip twice
  3. Sideways roll to the right
  4. Backflip four times
  5. Sideways roll to the right
  6. Sidehop three times to the left
  7. Pull out the slingshot and shot a seed at the window on your left.
  8. Face towards the front of the courtyard and hold R. When the bomb explodes you will die and activate the cutscene trigger.

Double Defense without strength

To get Double Defense the intended way, one must get the Golden Gauntlets and lift the rock out of the way to enter the Great Fairy Fountain. Using a Recoil Boost, however, allows one to skip the requirement of Golden Gauntlets, instead just requiring Hover Boots and the ability to crouch stab.

Get into the corner between the cliff and the rock, and align the right hand side of the B button with the edge of the cliff in front of you. Crouch stab the wall, and on the frame that you move backwards (also the second frame that sparks from your sword are visible), equip the Hover Boots. Unpause after equipping the Hover Boots, still holding your shield up and left on the analogue stick. You will then slide into the loading zone and will be able to get Double Defense provided you have Zelda's Lullaby as well as magic.

It is also possible to clip by Supersliding into the corner, as opposed to doing a Recoil Boost.
