By pressing R to transition to the album screen and immediately B to leave the pictobox, Link can move and interact with NPC's and triggers during the album screen transition, allowing you to talk to an NPC for example, but delaying it due to still being on the album screen. Nothing will actually progress until you press R again and return to gameplay. This actually has a few uses.

Without Storage

After initially pressing B and transitioning to the album screen, usually once you return back to the picture taking screen, the game remembers you pressed B to exit the Pictobox and will attempt to return you to normal gameplay. However, you can chain frame perfect R presses to continue transitioning back and forth. This allows you to progress whatever you may have interacted with during this time, but unfortunately text is delayed indefinitely during this state, limiting what you can actually progress.

With Storage

This glitch is far more useful when combined with Storage. By storing text during the picto transition, this allows pausing while having Text Stored, because the game delays creating the text instance until the next event happens.

This sometimes does not even need a transition to the album, and simply interacting with the NPC while leaving the pictobox is enough. When this is the case, the telescope can also be used instead of the pictobox.

With NPCs textboxes, this can also be used to perform Text Stacking.
