Low% [7 ITEM]

Low% means finishing the game with as few items as possible. Or, in other words, skipping as many items as you can. This means that you sometimes have to go out of your way in order to skip one item. Naturally, that is slower and thus, low% takes longer than any% (which means beat the game as fast as possible, no restrictions).

In this route, the game has been beaten with 7 items: Wind Waker, Bombs, Bomb Bag (30), Deku Leaf, Single Magic, Hero's Shield, Uncharged Master Sword. The big development was skipping the Mirror Shield and Fully Charged Master Sword (by unloading the Ganondorf Cutscene after setting up Actor Unloading with PROC_ROOM_SCENE corruption). In theory a lower item count than 7 could be achieved through the use of Hyxost Bombs or with PROC_ROOM_SCENE corruption without map glitch, but this is currently the RTA limit (skipping either wind waker or leaf and magic). Outset

• MSS to Dragon Roost Island
  • Damage down on Fire Mountain on the way
  • Wind Waker

Forsaken Fortress 1

• Superswim to Northern Fairy Island submarine
  • Get caught
• Beat FF1
  • Leave jail (right door)
  • Watch gossip stone cutscene
  • Window Jump
  • FF1 Stick Hover to the loading zone

Bombs

• Make sure to avoid the Name Place cutscene this entire segment
• Spawn at Windfall
• Fix saveflags by drowning into KoRL, then cruise or unbuffered back to Windfall
• Superswim to Northern Fairy Island submarine again
• Beat FF1 a second time
  • Stick hover into the sidle gap heart this time to live after the cutscene and keep the proper layer for the pirate ship to be at Outset
• Door Cancel with vision
  • Get Storage near mailbox, store KorL text
  • Door Cancel on potion door
  • Get Storage using end of wall railing near wall close to mailbox
• Swim to Outset for Early Pirate Ship
• Ropes 2
• Bombs
• Savewarp

Leaf

• Make sure to avoid the Name Place cutscene this entire segment
• Door Cancel with vision
  • Get Storage near mailbox, store KorL text
  • Door Cancel on potion door
  • Double Storage using end of wall railing near wall close to mailbox, using mailbox text
• Superswim to Forest Haven
• Grab one of two Deku Sticks, throw stick to area near loading zone
• Scale outside with jumpslashes with Deku Stick
• Deku Tree Cutscene Skip
• Bulb Skip, Leaf
• Savewarp

FF2

• Drown into KoRL to clear up all queued texts to avoid potential softlocks after setting up Actor Unloading below, cruise back to Windfall
• Set up PROC_ROOM_SCENE Corruption
  • Get storage, store KoRL text
  • Get storage without the text coming up using a pot push on the dock rocks
  • Store Name Place custcene and get storage again with stored KoRL text up
  • Superswim setup to drown and get Map Glitch while crossing quadrants
  • Corrupt for 25 minutes and 34 seconds, then end Map Glitch by clearing text
  • Wait for the quadrant to reload, can take up to 2.5 minutes

  • Door Cancel for FF2
  • Unload FF2 cutscene (Loading zone can take up to 1.5 minutes)
• Enter Hyrule 2

Hyrule 2 and Ganon's Tower

• Enter Hyrule 2, avoid the softlock after the courtyard cutscene, go through the castle
• Barrier Skip with Bomb Push Clip
• Enter Ganon's Tower
• Refill on magic
• Trials Skip
• Light Arrows Skip
• Grand Staircase Clip, Puppet Ganon Cutscene Skip
• Puppet Ganon Skip (healing with a fairy pot method, or turnaround to fairy pot method)
• Break warp pot
• Savewarp to Trials
• Continue Actor Unloading with Bomb Pulls in ET Trial
  • 750 pulls, grab drop to free up memory for loading zone, leave and comeback
  • 200 pulls, grab drop to free up memory for loading zone, leave and comeback
  • 200 pulls, grab drop to free up memory for loading zone, leave
• Trials Skip and Light Arrows Skip again
• Continue Actor Unloading with Bomb Pulls in ET Trial Grand Staircase
  • 300 pulls, break pot to free up memory and void out
  • 200 pulls, break pot to free up memory and continue below
• Grand Staircase Clip
• Puppet Ganon Cutscene Skip
• Enter warp pot
• Morth Hover with Bombs (without Bow)
