Genie Skip
It is possible to clip through the doors in the Genie fight, completely skipping it.
Instrument Door (Fastest)
- Enter the room from the right side of the door
- Move up until you push against the wall
- Move down-left until you push against the door
- Move down-right until Link barely touches the wall
- Move to the instrument door and move up and down to avoid the fireballs
- After the last fireball, charge a spin attack facing to the right
- Move into the bottom corner of the door
- Jump and release sword
- Jump when Genie has landed on the tile in front of you and is about to jump again
- Hold (buffer) boots upon landing until you're out of the room
Bottom Door (Slower, easier)
- Enter the room, watch cutscene and DO NOT MOVE UP OR DOWN
- Avoid fireballs moving ONLY LEFT AND RIGHT, again do not move up or down
- Once genie throws his hands up to indicate he will charge at you, it's safe to move vertically. Press against the middle of the door (within a few pixels of the middle) facing up
- Jump once (without holding directions) to rub against the wall above the door
- When the genie reaches the two diagonal lines on the floor (the "pocket" of the V-shape), jump. Do not hold directions
- Hold (buffer) boots upon landing until you're out of the room

Early
The bottle stays in front of Link
Late
The bottle clips inside Link but turns in place, resulting in a dash through the bottle
