Beat the game with the "No Wrong Warp" and "No Out of Bounds" rulesets in effect.
Usage of Saving and Quitting to reset Link's position and warp is allowed, as is deathwarping.
Nico timing begins at entering file selection screen (pre-make a save file if you plan on comparing vs Japanese times! - this is the primary Japanese LADX category) and ends in the Wind Fish dialogue scene where the Instruments Appear. Timing difference typically works out to around 1 minute and 10-12 seconds more than the English timing method.
Nico leaderboards can be found here: http://www40.atwiki.jp/niconamarta/pages/135.html

Stealing items from the shop is allowed, as is dying to the shop keeper when stealing items, and does not count in categories where no deathwarp rules are in effect.
"No WW" means no Wrong Warping using any glitch that sends link to unintended map tiles. This includes the Dog House Glitch, the Eagle Tower wrong warp in the mini-boss room, and others.
"No OoB" means no out of bounds glitches that allow link to unnaturally bypass normal screen transition boundaries by clipping through solid objects (this does not include wall clipping).
