Any%

There is a newer revision of the Wii Any% route - Any% BitE Route - that is faster by several minutes. However, that route is much harder to perform due to several tricks being both very precise and a lack of backup strategies effectively forcing most of the tricks performed in that route.

Note that all GCN&Wii tricks/glitches linked in this route are done on Gamecube and therefore are mirrored on Wii version.

Runs should start with a blank file in slots 1, 2 and 3 as multiple files are used during the run.

Route intended for Wii 1.0 (any region)

The route written below beats Forest Temple, does Midna Dive and Helmasaur LJA, gets Goron Bomb Bag, completes Lakebed, and does Snowpeak before Arbiter's. However, the Addenda below lists a few other routing options.

Runs that use this route, or slight variations of it, are:

Faster Bomb Duping Alternative (tricky)

There also exists a bomb duping route that is a faster alternative (~30s), but much trickier than the above route. It is as follows:

  • Same route up through Eldin Twilight
    • Don't save at Grove 1
  • Lakebed I without setting EBF
  • All of Lanayru Twilight
  • Steal Lent Bomb Bag as wolf
    • Duplicate bag and ask Iza for bombs
    • Warp Zora's Domain afterwards
  • Snowpeak Ascent to Ball and Chain as written
  • After orange rupees, Ooccoo back to Lakebed
  • Lakebed II (Clawshot) but without Goron Bag
    • Moonboots over railing for Early Deku Toad: [video]
  • Lakebed III (Morpheel)
    • Use remaining water bombs
  • Midna's Desperate Hour
  • Desert
  • Arbiter's Grounds
    • If out of bombs, use B&C (can refill WB in CitS)
  • Mirror Chamber
  • Route converges at City in the Sky (return to route)

Slower Bomb Duping Alternative (more lenient)

This route is slower than the main route, but it is more lenient with its usage of bombs.

  • Same route up through Lanayru Twilight
  • Steal Lent Bomb Bag as wolf
    • Duplicate bag and ask Iza for bombs
    • Warp Castle Town afterwards
  • Transform to human, then Ooccoo back to Lakebed
  • Lakebed II (Clawshot)
    • No need to obtain Goron Bag
    • Collect 5 WB chest regardless
  • Lakebed III (Morpheel)
    • Use remaining water bombs as needed
    • Note that bomb bag contents reset after leaving Lakebed
  • Route converges at Midna's Desperate Hour (return to route)

Other Alternatives

  • If you do not care for moonboots, then Arbiter's before Snowpeak is also an option.
  • If you care for neither bomb duping nor moonboots, there is also the classic Wii Any% Route
  • If you prefer Morpheel and Zant with Zora Armor, see the Any% ZA route
