Skipping the Boomerang

Note: This trick requires Early Bombs and a Bottle.

Forbidden Woods

As funny as it might sound, getting the Boomerang isn't required in order to complete Forbidden Woods. As long as you have Bombs and a Bottle filled with Forest Water, you can beat FW without ever collecting the Boomerang or the boss key for that matter.

Navigate through the dungeon up until you get to the room with the Giant Flower. Drop down to the lower level, and with your bombs, kill the two baba buds on the door leading to the Boss Room.

Skipping the Boss Key

Now in order to get into Kalle Demos' room, we're going to need to perform Water Storage on the chest that appears when you defeat the two mothulas. Once you have stored off of the chest, continue on until you get up to the boss door. Grind up on the right side until you slip past the door and into the Kalle Demos battle.

Defeating Kalle Demos

Now in order to defeat this guy, you're going to need bombs. Start the battle as normal, and instead of cutting down his tentacles (which frankly is impossible at this point... you don't have the boomerang), get up underneath him and pull out a bomb. Hold it and just before it blows up, toss it. If you did it right, it should deal damage to him. Keep doing it until he is defeated, it should take about 6(?) bombs.

In the event that you have run out of bombs before killing him, as long as you have the Tingle Tuner, you'll be able to keep throwing bombs at him. To do this, you will need to use the infinite bombs glitch.

Ganon's Tower

Puppet Ganon's First Phase

Because you would not have the boomerang in a Low% Speedrun, you will not be able to cut the ropes suspending Puppet Ganon's tail and other appendages in his first phase. However, it is possible to completely skip the entire Puppet Ganon battle by zombie hovering to Ganondorf. For more information, click here.
