Getting the clawshot before the Forest Temple is incredibly helpful in an Any% Individual Level Speed run for it, as having the clawshot allows you to skip rescuing all monkeys in the dungeon (except for the first one which is required to climb the vines). The accompaniment of the bomb arrows allows for extremely quick battles with the enemies the dungeon holds as well.
†††- It is currently unknown which of the three bomb bags you inventory checks to transfer over into your BiT file's inventory. For the sake of this, it is recommended that you fill all three with water bombs, as the game seems to select a bomb bag at random to transfer. It is absolutely necessary, however, to have all three bomb bags in your inventory, otherwise only the bow will be transferred to your BiT file's inventory.
In the current Forest Temple route for an Any% Individual Level Speed run, 6 bomb arrows are used. For this reason, we collect the water bombs from the treasure chest in step 22. If you only use two water bombs when battling the Deku Toad, you will not necessarily need to open that chest. If you want to be safe, however, it is recommended that you obtain the water bombs from that chest.
