Trying to place the Fairy Bow, Slingshot, or Bombchus to your B button as Adult Link will result in a Deku Stick instead. The reason is unknown exactly, but it likely has something to do with the fact you may get those items on B through normal gameplay (shop games, etc). It has been claimed that this doesn't always happen, but solid proof has yet to be presented.
